Dear Volvo Owners,

Swedish Motors has been in business for over 30 years. Lately, we've realized that many folks in the Boulder area don't even know that we can work on their new Volvos, and we want to change that. Having us perform a regular scheduled service will not void your factory warranty. We cannot however take care of warranty problems. Only a Volvo dealer can do that.

What we do:

We provide a full range of Volvo services from regular mechanical maintenance to troubleshooting. We perform alignments here at the shop and we sell, mount, and balance tires too. Everything we do is warrantied, both new parts and labor, for one full year. Often we can save you money by installing used parts where appropriate (these used parts usually aren't warrantied though). We are fully experienced in air conditioning repair and conversion to the new refrigerant.

What we don't do:

We don't perform body work. We don't work on diesel engines, but feel free to call us and ask us where you can get this work performed.

The Swedish story:

David, the owner, was a helicopter mechanic in Vietnam. Soon after returning to the U.S., David's love for fixing things evolved into running a full time Volvo repair shop. His emphasis has always been on maintaining excellent communication with the customer so they understand the problem and options for fixing their car. He is always willing to impart his experience to the do-it-yourselfer. Customers are treated like friends and are allowed in the work area to talk to the technicians.

The other guys:

Marshall does an excellent job at managing the shop and customers remark how friendly he is. The technicians are John, Dan, Doug and Jeff and they have a combined total of 50 years working here at Swedish Motors.

The bottom line:

We'd like to be your "Volvo guys." We like to help people in any way we can. Your satisfaction with your experience here is top priority. As incentive for you to give us a try, we offer free oil and filter change on each Volvo you own.
